Представлен краткий обзор основных работ и достижений Николы Теслы, выдающегося американского изобретателя, серба по национальности, автора более 700 патентов, разработчика индустриальных систем электропитания, электродвигателей переменного тока и высокочастотных приложений, пионера беспроводной передачи информации, получивших широкое распространение во всем мире. Приведены родословная, сведения о родителях и родственниках Теслы, интересные факты из его жизни и деятельности, включая подробности работы в Париже и Страсбурге до  переселения в США,  последующего строительства электростанций на Ниагарском водопаде и его опытов с высоковольтными и высокочастотными напряжениями. Описаны контакты Теслы с Эдисоном, Вестингаузом и другими американскими и европейскими изобретателями и учеными, а также записи из его дневника, хранящегося в Белградском музее, и иные факты, свидетельствующие о том, Тунгусская катастрофа 1908 года могла быть результатом его экспериментов с атмосферным электричеством.

 A brief overview of the major works and achievements of Nikola Tesla, a prominent American inventor, a Serb by nationality, author of more than 700 patents, industrial power supply systems developer, AC motors and high-frequency applications, pioneer wireless transmission of information and widely distributed throughout the world. Given pedigree information on Tesla's parents and relatives, the interesting facts of his life and work, including details of the work in Paris and Strasbourg before moving to the United States, the subsequent construction of power plants at Niagara Falls and his experiments with high-voltage and high-frequency voltages. Tesla described contacts with Edison, Westinghouse and other American and European inventors and scientists, as well as records from his diary, kept in the Museum of Belgrade, and other evidence about the Tunguska catastrophe in 1908 could be the result of his experiments with atmospheric electricity.
