Abstract:

By the end of the 20th century, it became clear that the moral and environmental crisis that engulfed the public consciousness manifested itself in technology, engineering, and science. The golden age of classical science had vanished into oblivion. It had reached the limits of its development and, at the same time, proved incapable of addressing the fundamental problems that had arisen in human society. Many scientists have repeatedly expressed their concern about this role of classical science, its limitations to the world of visible forms. It failed to foresee the inevitable critical state, the coming moment when humanity would endanger both itself and the planet on which it lives. A way out of this situation required a new scientific paradigm. This inevitably brought us closer to the point where advanced human thought began to transcend the "world of form" and enter the "world of content" at the level of understanding the cosmic meaning of Life. The 20th century saw the emergence of a holistic understanding of the world, followed by a worldview. The foundation for their emergence was laid by the Russian cosmists, who undertook a strikingly ambitious attempt to understand science as a holistic phenomenon of planetary scale, integrating all its fundamental aspects - natural and social, historical and civilizational, individual and collective, ideological and psychological, moral and religious, aesthetic and ethical. Subsequently, based on the emergence of breakthrough ideas in the field of subatomic physics, modern cosmists began actively developing the idea of Integrity, where Nature (the Universe), the noosphere, the biosphere, society, and humanity constitute a single, multi-level, energy-informational structure. At the same time, a new perspective on global problems on a planetary scale, as well as the new role of the human being and their mind in the processes of life creation and life preservation, was revealed more profoundly and clearly. Thus, advanced science succeeded in reaching a new stage of its evolutionary development – a post-non-classical one, revealing both a new understanding of the meaning of universal development, as well as the goals and values of human existence. These new discoveries led to the realization that Life represents a holistic evolutionary process (not only visible – physical, geochemical, biological, historical – but also subtle – mental, psychic process), hierarchically integrated into the cosmic evolution of Life, in which all phenomena and events proceed in interconnectedness and interdependence. The defining law of Life, both for the Universe and for man as an integral part of it, is the fundamental Law of energy-informational exchange – the Law of the Unity of the entire Universe.
