Резюме:

This article is devoted to such a phenomenon as “Muslim (Islamic) revival” or “tajdid”, the spread of Islam or its strengthening, strengthening in various countries of the world, which arose approximately from the second half of the last century. The purpose of the article is to identify the positive and negative consequences of this phenomenon for society and the reasons for its occurrence. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of historical and cultural reasons and prerequisites for the Islamic revival.
