Conspiracy theories have long gone beyond chamber forums on the Web and conversations in the kitchens - today you can read about them in the newspapers and hear on TV. Their supporters believe that the Earth is flat, the first persons of the states are reptilian aliens, and the pharmaceutical companies invented HIV. Let us see what features of our perception make conspiracy theories so attractive and whether faith in a world conspiracy can cause real harm.
