Prevention of burnout on a personal level

Abstract:

Volunteers and community activists are at risk of emotional burnout. Whoever we try to help - refugees or the planet Earth - constant empathy and stress can exhaust us. How to deal with this? three categories of emotional burnout: personal, organizational and public.
