Abstract:
The brilliant work of Ibn Sina "Canon of medical science" - the largest in terms of meaning and content of a cultural monument - was written in 1012-1024. This colossal body of medical knowledge represents one of the milestones in the development of genuine humanism ideas related to the struggle for protecting human health. The greatest monuments of the human mind, to which the "Canon" belongs, also entered the treasury of world science and culture.
Keywords: Abu-ali Ibn Sina Avicenna (980-1037) - Persian scientist, doctor, philosopher, musician; he was obsessed with the research spirit and the desire to encyclopedic coverage of all modern branches of knowledge, was distinguished by phenomenal memory and sharpness of thought.
