Object of the Study. Studying the schools of the quality of life research in Russia, and the resulting social structure
Subject of the Study. The main ideas and accomplishments of Russian scientific schools of quality of life, according to the study of consumption, inequality and poverty.
Purpose of the Study. The main purpose of the article is reviewing the quality of the key provisions of scientific research school life, inequality and poverty in Russia.
The Main Theoretical Aspects. Russian researching the quality of life, poverty, inequality and social services is beind carried out in line with global trends, taking into account peculiarities of the environment in which development of our country, and the political decisions in this area reflect the mentality of the Russian political circles. Over the past half-century in the Soviet and post-Soviet period of Russian history, a powerful scientific potential and scientific schools in the field of researching standard of living and the quality of life have been formed.
Conclusions. Russian scientific schools formed a system to study the quality of life expressing a complex methodology of research and interdisciplinary approaches.
