Резюме:

The paper deals with the main problems of transition of both Russia and the whole world community to the road of sustainable development and shows the role of philosophy of science in solving these problems. In particular, philosophy of science is assigned to promote ecologising consciousness and forming ecologically-safe community as a stage of sustainable community. Science in itself must be apprehended as an extremely important component in the search for a model of sustainable development.
